COMICS

In 2018 I created the satirical comic strip Crisinera (deep, dark crisis). The same year I was honoured with the “Stampa Comics” national prize for excellence in comic strips (Lucca Comics). Soon after Crisinera started being published as a daily comic strip by La Stampa national Italian newspaper. Crisinera is featured in corporate training and editorial projects for multinational corporations (ENEL Electricity and Gas Group, Btinkeeng Digital Innovators, Netplan Management Consulting…).

Translation: “I say STOP to low self esteem! / I will employ positive thinking / “I have abilities” / … / Vulner-abilities.
Translation: “A coffee” “What if you get tachicardia?” / “With milk” “Shouldn’t you be vegan?” / “Sugar please” “What about your blood work?!” / “And a pastry” “You’re looking for trouble huh?!” / “A decaf and two slaps” “That’s my girl”.
Translation: Certain days I hate everyone / I relax only by imagining / that I pop people’s heads. / Then I feel guilty and screw the heads back on… / but all wrong”.

Translation: “My friend Lina is so lucky! A hot husband, two lovely sons…” “Well she’s cheating!” “Why?!” “Because of three cool men in her life, she literally made two”.

Corporate projects

I drew Crisinera in a painterly style and used this character to illustrate the corporate values of ENEL Multinational Energy Corporation, featured as visuals in Enel Magazine n.33, global distribution (translated in four languages, Nov 2021)

Translation: Certain days / the crisis is so huge / that you think of changing planet but / …
Translation: “It’s not so bad in this little square / it has clear, reassuring boundaries… / even you are less scary in here!” / “Your single, jobless, hypochondriac and without a political reference” / “Nevermind”.
Translation: “When I meet a man I observe him calmly / in relation to my values and thoughts./ If he doesn’t fit… / I let go with love. / Well sort of” “Yeah”.
